Kusawa

the wind, the frost, the water
they play
with sand and snow and rocks
lines and patterns
everywhere
ice on the beach
water in the lake
sand in ice on snow with rocks
snow on rocks with air in ice
water lapping noisily
snow rippled sand
ice flows over rocks
etcetera etcetera
innumerable combinations
changing all the time
as does the light

This is so great. Growing up in southern California, I certainly know the sand and the beach. But this is a new concept for me with the addition of snow. This is my second winter in Nebraska and I am excited about the snow.

And yes snow is such an amazing thing, i can't understand why anybody would want to live in California:) Oops, I would loooove it, and especially San Diego!
And really i went to Kusawa because, i miss the beach and the ocean.
I'll do a post soon on the virtues of snow, many!

I'm glad it was a glitch! Because it has lead me here to see this beauty.I have too much salt (where I live)to ever see much snow.Snow as beautiful as these pictures show.
I am liking your words, you.Your pictures too.
