juvenile eagle

This is an update for previous post.
Wednesday we saw a juvenile bald eagle at the Takhini river at Kusawa Lake. one that is probably a year old.
It very well could be last years eagle. because there is only one adult pair nesting along that stretch of river. And they are indeed having eaglets again. On a much better nest, quite a sturdy platform. I am so proud of them. And so happy to see a juvenile eagle around.
They did arrive much later this year, but as we saw wednesday June 27 2018 all is well!
