Bear
was visiting Yukon Rachel
and decided to see
your place, too.

The Ursine pictures
made this Bear
feel right at home
in this blog
(though yours are Black,
and I am Brown.)

The bikes of the mountain
scared the daylights
out of me.
I wasn't
expecting them,
with their
passionae riders.

Nobody
should be going down
the hills that fast.
Nobody!
Someone could
be killed!
Or worse!

Every
mother's
nightmare!

Or is that
perhaps
the entire point
of the exercise —
to daringly race down
without getting
killed?

Hi Jozien,
Gee, my heart's beating faster. How far away was the bear? Looks like a good-sized black. Is that what it was? Beautiful pictures. The bear is amazing against the poplars.

Congratulations to you and Alexander.
