My mini-river is still icebound, but I can hear water moving if I turn my head the right way. When will the creek show its face? Who decides these things anyways? It seems so unfair- I would like to walk on bare ground to the edge and look into a deep dark pool where life may be awakening for another epheneral summer season.
Is spring a state of mind? Is it really real or just some obscure concept? I have been walking on such thin ice lately and have to be especially careful not to fall though.

Nice, wild lady :)
That's a balancing act.
It looks so lonely there.
