Ha!

I caught them
in one picture!
what does it say
when you live among
ravens and coyotes
magpies scrounching
woodpeckers
rattling my brain
they, the woodpeckers
fly around frantically
threesome
blurting out
their mating calls
what does that do to me?
I grab you by the...
run out naked in the snow
only 5C below
that's what it does to me
:)

  4. Ah, I see the comment is fully gone now. Oh the tangled webs we weave :) All this is supported on a sea of numbers, carefully controlled and knowable.

    The Raven And Coyote

    Raven looks at her,
    old coyote in the warming
    snow that clogs the pads
    of her cold cold feet.

    Coyote ignores raven, her
    one eye on the trail.
    I know she hears me,
    the click of the camera.
    She ignores me too.

    Raven keeps one eye on
me even though she is high
    up that naked tree.

  5. Lots of people would like to live so close to nature as you do. Ravens are near and dear to hubby and me.

  6. Thanks for the morning laugh. Too bad the raven didn't have a camera to take a picture of you! Your photos never cease to amaze me.
