we didn't eat this one.
but i did ate (and with the coral mushroom blanched them and froze them)
a polypores. this kind; big white creamy globes on the forest floor.
It appears to be a good berry and mushroom year!
We have been picking and eating mushrooms, too. And here comes the rain!
ReplyDeletebut... meanwhile you did see the movie (or read the book) "Into the Wild"..? Great book/film playing in the Yukon... But please be careful with unknown mushrooms..
