snow and sun



maybe your snow has departed, gone to sea
here it is still all abound
an ocean full of breaking waves
dazzling in the sun
like snowbirds ascending in the sky
swans descending
once there's open water in the frozen pond

    We got some new snow this morning, it's sad, but when the sun shines it is still pretty.
