Isn't it an amazing duo! I was just out tobogganing with the kids, and caught a glimpse of that thin sliver of a new moon, hanging beneath an enormous Venus.
Luckily here in Holland we have the same unpolluted skies!! Really! Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the beautiful moon this week(your second photo is really GREAT!), but I did see it, also here in Holland.
